About Mary Beth

My name is Mary Beth and I am a wife to a sweet man, and mother to my two darling kiddos, Titus and Norah! I love being a SAHM and taking care of our family fulltime! I’ve been developing a desire to live more simply and naturally, and have been exploring ways to do this and save our family money by making more foods and other products from scratch. I love cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, crafting, writing, reading and spending time with my family. This lifestyle we’re developing makes me feel alot more domesticated and old fashioned, and I love it- especially when I have cloth diapers drying outside and bread rising on the counter!

We have been called to serve the Lord in full-time ministry, and are currently serving in the church that Tim (my hubby) pastors. I have a heart for moms, and love working with our local MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) group! (learn about MOPS and find a group here)

I also have a passion for the orphan crisis and human trafficking around the world! I struggle to know how I, as an ordinary SAHM, can make an impact on the evils in the world. I desire to use my shop to bring in some monies that I can not only help out our family with, but use to donate to friends’ adoptions and support organizations (like Women At Risk Int’l) that fight human trafficking. And along with sharing my latest sewing project, recipe, spiritual lesson, or personal struggle, I’d also like to use this blog to give a voice to those that have none in this world.

  1. Hey you! I miss seeing your posts come across my blog stats :( I loved your 31 days series. As well I wanted to let you know that I tried the 5 minute bread you suggested via facebook a while back and loved it! It's on my blog now with your name all over it as the SAHM with the great ideas :) I hope you're able to get settled in fairly quickly at your new house. Best of luck and prayers your way!
